THE CHAMPTIRES INSPECTION PROCESS
When you purchase tires from Champtires, your satisfaction is guaranteed. We’re able to do this
because we use a three-step inspection process to ensure that we are only selling the best used tires that do not have any holes or other defects.
Each tire is visually inspected for obvious defects such as nails, screws, broken beads and dry rot.
Then, tires are air-tested on our state-of-the-art Matteuzzi specialty testing equipment.
When a tire is purchased, it is given a final inspection and test before it ships.
OUR FOUNDER
Champtires was established in 2009 by President and CEO Brad Rea. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in business and as the Panther’s all-time leading homerun hitter (among many other records), Brad played in the minor leagues for five years. Then, he joined a waste management firm and came up with the idea for Champtires after seeing how many tires with decent tread remaining ended up in landfills.

Our headquarters is in West Mifflin, PA, right outside of Pittsburgh. We also have two retail locations in
